About air vents
Air vents are compact automatic devices that clear the small volumes of air released from water under working pressure at high points in pipework, heating circuits and small systems. A float mechanism opens a small orifice to expel air and reseals once water returns, keeping the system free of air locks that would restrict flow and reduce heat transfer. They are made in brass, bronze and stainless steel with threaded connections. Provide the connection size and working pressure for a suitable selection.
