Description
Floating ball valve with a free-floating ball design that seals by medium pressure pressing the ball against the outlet seat. Available in cast steel two-piece, forged steel two-piece, forged steel three-piece, and one-piece cast body constructions. Suitable for oil and gas, chemical, petrochemical, power, and general industrial applications.
Selection notes
This ball valve is a floating and cast steel pattern, supplied for flanged, butt weld, threaded and socket weld installation.
Sizes run DN15 to DN200, in Class 150, Class 300, Class 600.
The body is offered in WCB, WC6, WC9 and WCC, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Stated service media include water, natural gas, methane and ethylene.
It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and Oil & Gas.
Working temperature is -196°C to 540°C.
Built to API 6D, ASME B16.34, BS 5351, ISO 17292 and API 598.
