About flanges
Flanges provide a bolted, gasketed connection for joining valves, fittings, pumps and pipework, allowing equipment to be assembled and later removed without cutting. They are supplied in common face types (raised face, flat face and ring-type joint) and drilling standards to EN 1092 or ASME B16.5, in weld-neck, slip-on, blind and other forms. Materials range through carbon, stainless and alloy steel. Provide the bore, pressure rating, face type and standard for a suitable flange.
