Description
Knife gate valve for isolation of slurries, pulps, and viscous or particulate-laden media in pipelines. The gate incorporates a shear function to scrape sealing surfaces and remove debris. Stainless steel gate options resist corrosion. Available in wafer or flanged end connections.
Selection notes
This knife gate valve is supplied for wafer and flanged installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN800, in PN10, PN16.
The body is offered in WCB and SS304, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are PTFE. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include cement slurry, pulp, wood pulp, slag, cinder and slime.
