Description
The SKAA is specifically engineered for sewage and effluent service. The non-clog ball float resists fouling from fibres, greases and solids present in wastewater. The anti-shock mechanism prevents pressure surges when air is suddenly expelled. The smooth internal profile and ball float design eliminate the crevices that harbour blockages in standard air valves. Suitable for municipal wastewater, pumped sewage rising mains and industrial effluent systems.
Selection notes
This air release valve is supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN300, in PN10, PN16, PN25.
The body is Ductile Iron EN GJS 500-7.
Seat and trim options are NBR Rubber. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Working temperature is -10°C to 80°C.
Built to BS EN 1074-4, AWWA C512, BS EN 558, BS EN 1092 (flange drilling and dimensions) and ANSI flange (flange drilling and dimensions).
