Description

A side-entry, bolted body ball valve manufactured from alloy steel and designed for extreme operating conditions involving high temperatures, high pressures, and abrasive media. Features metal-to-metal (hard seal) seating with hypersonic spraying surface treatment for wear and corrosion resistance. Incorporates double block and bleed, automatic cavity relief, anti-blowout stem, and anti-coking self-cleaning design.

Selection notes

This ball valve is a hard seal, side-entry and double block and bleed pattern, supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run NPS 2" to NPS 10", in PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40, PN63, PN100, PN160, PN250, PN320, PN400, PN420, Class 150, Class 300, Class 400, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500, Class 2500.

The body is offered in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are Metal-to-metal (hardened). The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
