Description

Y-shaped body strainer designed to protect pipeline equipment such as valves, pumps, and flow meters from debris and solid particles. Available in cast iron and ductile iron body construction with stainless steel or cast bronze screen, with flanged end connections. Includes an accessible screen chamber for cleaning and maintenance.

Selection notes

This strainer is a y- pattern, supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run DN50 to DN500, in PN10, PN16.

The body is offered in Cast Iron and Ductile Iron, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are Brass. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include chemicals, air, water, steam, oil and salts.

Working temperature is -10°C to 120°C.
