Features

Elastic sealing ring design provides seat seal load proportional to medium pressure
Fire-safe secondary metal seal prevents internal and external leakage in the event of non-metallic seat seal damage by fire; meets API607 requirement
Anti-blowout stem assembled from underneath with backseat; sealing force increases with medium pressure
Lockable lever to prevent wrong operation in fully open or closed position
Anti-static device available to derive electric charge accumulated on the ball via static channel between ball and stem, or stem and body
Two-piece bolted bonnet body construction
Full or reduced bore options available
Stainless steel ball as standard

Description

A two-piece bolted bonnet floating ball valve with full or reduced bore, available in ANSI pressure classes 150 through 1500. Features an anti-blowout stem assembled from underneath with backseat sealing, fire-safe secondary metal seal design, and anti-static device option. Designed and manufactured to API 608 and API 6D.

Selection notes

This ball valve is a floating ball, two-piece body, bolted bonnet and api pattern, supplied for flanged and butt weld installation.

Sizes run DN15 to DN250, in Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500.

The body is offered in ASTM A216 WCB, ASTM A351 CF8 and ASTM A351 CF8M, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are Reinforced PTFE. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

It is catalogued for Oil & Gas and Industrial Process.

Built to API 608, API6D, BS5351, ANSI B16.10 and JIS B 2002.
