Description

Dual-plate, flanged-end check valve for backflow prevention in industrial piping systems. The valve body is available in cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, or stainless steel, with EPDM, NBR, FKM, or Neoprene seat options. Double-disc spring-loaded design provides low cracking pressure and non-slam closing action to minimise water hammer. Supports horizontal and vertical (upward flow) installation.

Selection notes

This check valve is a double plate pattern, supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run DN50 to DN1000, in PN10, PN16, PN25.

The body is offered in CI, DI, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are NBR, EPDM, FKM and Neoprene. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include fresh water, sewage, sea water, air, vapour and oils.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater, HVAC and Industrial Process.

Working temperature is max 150°C.

Built to API 594, API 598, ASTM and DIN PN10/16/25.
