- The large-diameter NSCV for DN400 - DN1200 is an axial-flow nozzle check valve with a streamlined disc and spring assembly coaxial with the flow path
- The axial design provides the lowest headloss of any check valve type, important on long rising mains where energy savings are significant
- The spring ensures rapid, slam-free closure on pump trip regardless of pipeline profile
- Prevents reverse flow by sealing slowly just before the pump stops
- Seat can be metal or soft seated; the conical disc surface design provides a tight seal
- Excellent dynamic performance minimises vibration and noise
- Advanced dynamic design of a single body with diffuser provides streamlined flow and assures lower head loss
- Powder epoxy coated inside and outside for corrosion resistance
- Bronze bushing reduces wear during operation
- Stainless steel spring is hidden inside the diffuser, protected while the valve is in operation
- Disc closes positively before reverse flow, with closing speed up to 0.2 seconds
- Vertical, horizontal or inclined installation; for DN800 and above, vertical installation is preferred
- Complies with EN 558-1, ISO 5752 and EN 1092-2/ISO 7005-2 flange dimensions
Description
The large-diameter NSCV for DN400 - DN1200 is an axial-flow nozzle check valve with a streamlined disc and spring assembly coaxial with the flow path. The axial design provides the lowest headloss of any check valve type, important on long rising mains where energy savings are significant. The spring ensures rapid, slam-free closure on pump trip regardless of pipeline profile.

Sizes run DN400 to DN1200, in PN10, PN16, PN25.
The body is Ductile Iron GJS 500-7.
