Description
Wafer-type dual plate check valve with two spring-loaded plates that open under forward flow and close rapidly upon flow reversal. Corrosion-resistant construction suitable for chemical processing, marine pipelines, and water treatment applications. Supports horizontal and vertical upward flow installations with lower pressure drop compared to traditional swing check valves.
Selection notes
This check valve is a dual plate and wafer type pattern, supplied for wafer installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1000, in PN10, PN16.
The body is offered in Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are NBR, EPDM, FKM and Neoprene. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include fresh water, sewage, sea water, air, vapor and oils.
It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater, HVAC and Industrial Process.
Working temperature is max 150°C.
Built to API 594, DIN3202, ISO5752, API 598 and ISO5211.
