- The P26U flow-modulated pressure management pilot adjusts the downstream pressure set point in proportion to measured flow, delivering higher pressure during peak demand and lower pressure during low-demand periods
- Unlike fixed time-based pilots, the P26U responds to actual flow conditions, providing the minimum pressure required to meet current demand at all times
- This results in greater leakage reduction and energy savings than time-based control alone
- P26U switches pressure based on high or low flow rate, read from a water meter via RS485
- P26U has 2 flow-rate setting values (lower and higher level) to switch between the 2 pressure settings
- 10-year-life lithium battery
- Black control box and solenoid valve connected to the control tube system
- IP68 rated for water resistance
- Meets BS EN 1074-5, ISO 5208, BS EN 12266-1 and BS EN 558-1
- Both P26M and P26U types have a control box and solenoid valve on the main valve
- P26U uses the same main valve as P26M; the purchaser can combine either an ultrasonic or magnetic meter with an RS485 signal connected to the control box
- A single remote controller can set multiple valves regardless of the number of valves fitted
- Controller box can be set by timing or flow rate through the remote controller
Description
The P26U flow-modulated pressure management pilot adjusts the downstream pressure set point in proportion to measured flow, delivering higher pressure during peak demand and lower pressure during low-demand periods. Unlike fixed time-based pilots, the P26U responds to actual flow conditions, providing the minimum pressure required to meet current demand at all times. This results in greater leakage reduction and energy savings than time-based control alone.
Selection notes
This control valve is supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN800, in PN10, PN16, PN25, ANSI 125, ANSI 150.
The body is EN-GJS-500-7.
Seat and trim options are Stainless Steel AISI 304 and Stainless Steel AISI 316. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
