Description

The Type III pressure management valve pairs a hydraulically operated control valve and pilot with an intelligent controller, for pressure management across a distribution network. The controller is in three parts: a control box acquiring pressure, flow and level and handling data transmission, a solenoid box carrying out the control action, and a battery box powering communications. Pressure is modulated on peak and off-peak factors and on measured flow, set points are changed remotely through the control platform, and an alert is raised on a pipe burst, a leak or a firefighting draw.
