Description

The R900 is a reduced bore version of the A900 automatic control valve main body. The reduced bore design allows a smaller valve to handle a given line size, reducing weight, face-to-face length and installed cost while maintaining full hydraulic control authority. Used with the standard P-series pilot range for pressure reducing, sustaining, level and flow control duties where space or weight constraints apply.

Selection notes

This control valve is supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run DN80 to DN1000, in PN10, PN16, PN25.

The body is EN-GJS-500-7.

Seat and trim options are AISI 304 and 316. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Working temperature is -10°C to 80°C.

Built to EN 1074-5, BS EN 1074-5, BS EN 558-1, ISO 5208 and BS EN 12266-1.

This product is part of the A900 modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing A900 body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
