Features
- The A20B is a high-flow pressure reducing valve for trunk main and bulk supply duty where the A200 body is undersized for the required flow capacity
- The enlarged body and flow passages accommodate higher flow rates at low headloss, making it suitable for primary pressure management stations serving large distribution zones
Description
The A20B is a pressure reducing valve with low flow rate bypass pilot. It gives a stable fixed outlet pressure during normal flow rate. When flow rate is very small, the main valve closes and water flows through the bypass pilot to avoid valve vibration. Fitted with a P200 reducing pilot and D200 bypass pilot. Globe design for superior control characteristics; ductile iron body with nylon-reinforced diaphragm.
Selection notes
This control valve is supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN200, in PN10, PN16, PN25.
The body is EN-GJS-500-7.
Seat and trim options are Stainless Steel AISI 304 and Stainless Steel AISI 316. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
