Description

The A204 combines downstream pressure reducing and flow limiting in a single A900 valve body, using a P200 reducing pilot and P400 flow control pilot. Under normal demand the P200 pilot controls downstream pressure; when demand exceeds the flow limit the P400 pilot takes authority regardless of the PRV set point. An Alpine orifice plate provides the differential pressure signal for the flow pilot. Used at district supply points where both pressure and maximum demand must be controlled.

Selection notes

This control valve is supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run DN50 to DN1000, in PN10, PN16, PN25.

The body is EN-GJS-500-7.

Seat and trim options are AISI 304 and 316. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include water.

Working temperature is -10°C to 80°C.

Datasheet technical-data header states "Size Range: DN50~DN1000mm", but this PDF's own main-valve BOM and dimensions tables only go to DN800 (like the rest of the A900 family); no DN900/DN1000 dimensions or pilot confirmation are published for this specific dual-pilot model, so DN900/DN1000 are not added to dimensions_table/size.available -- unconfirmed for this model despite the headline range (per no-sister-product-inheritance: the base A900 body tabulates DN900/1000 as reduced-bore, but that does not confirm the dual flow-limiter pilot arrangement scales to those sizes).
