Features
- The Alpine orifice plate is a precision-bored flanged plate installed between standard flanges to create a measured differential pressure for flow calculation
- Used upstream of P400 flow control pilots and P20A differential pressure pilots to provide the sensing signal
- Supplied with tapping connections for pilot or transmitter connection
- Available in ductile iron and stainless steel for a range of pipe sizes and flow rates
Description
Globe-style, diaphragm-actuated, hydraulic pilot-operated automatic water control valve. Ductile iron body with fusion-bonded epoxy (FBE) coating minimum 250 microns. Spindle assembly supported at both ends by bearings; single moving part. Stainless steel seat retained by screwing (DN50, 150), screws (DN200, 300), or flat seal disc (DN400, 800). Available with optional V-port anti-cavitation trim (single or double). Up to 1500 pilot arrangement combinations for pressure reducing, pressure sustaining, flow control, solenoid on/off, float control, altitude control, pump control, and surge anticipation functions. Handles 4:1 pressure drop ratio with modified design.
Selection notes
This accessory is supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN400, in PN10, PN16, PN25.
The body is Ductile Iron GJS 500-7.
Seat and trim options are AISI 304 and AISI 316. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
