Description
Forged steel gate valve designed to API 602, available in NPS 3/4 inch to 2 inch and pressure classes 150Lb to 2500Lb. End connections include raised face, socket weld, butt weld, and ring-type joint configurations. Body and trim materials span carbon steel, alloy steel, and austenitic stainless steel grades.
Selection notes
This gate valve is a forged steel pattern, supplied for flanged, socket weld and butt weld installation.
Sizes run NPS 3/4" to NPS 2", in Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500, Class 2500.
The body is offered in A105, A182 F22, A182 F304(L) and A182 F316(L), so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are A276 420, A276 304(L) and A276 316(L). The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include water, steam, oil and gas.
