Description
Stainless steel gate valve for shut-off and flow isolation in industrial pipeline systems. Available in multiple stainless steel grades (304, 304L, 316, 316L) and carbon steel (WCB), covering sizes NPS 2 to NPS 32 and pressure classes 150LB to 900LB. Gate and seat sealing surfaces produced with cemented carbide overlay welding of differing hardness. Stem tempered and surface nitrided for corrosion resistance, scratch resistance, and wear resistance.
Selection notes
This gate valve is supplied for flanged and butt weld installation.
Sizes run NPS 2" to NPS 32", in Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900.
The body is offered in OCr18Ni9, OOCr18Ni10, OOCr18Ni9Mo2 and OOCr18Ni10Mo2, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Stated service media include chemicals, corrosive media, abrasive media, slurries and mixed solids.
It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater, Oil & Gas and Industrial Process.
Working temperature is max 200°C.
Built to API602, ASME B16.34, BS 5352, BS 6364 and ASME B16.10.
