Description
A casting steel gate valve with female threaded end connections, available in stainless steel grades SS304 and SS316. The gate plate moves perpendicular to the fluid direction and is designed for fully open or fully closed operation only; throttling is not possible. Sealing is achieved via contact between the valve seat and gate plate, with PTFE body sealing.
Selection notes
This gate valve is a female thread and casting pattern, supplied for threaded installation.
Sizes run NPS 1/2" to NPS 4", in 200 WOG.
The body is offered in CF8M and CF8, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Stated service media include oil, gas, water and acid liquid.
