Description

Cast steel globe valve in sizes NPS 2 to 12 (DN15 to DN300), pressure classes 150LB to 2500LB. End connections: raised face (RF), ring-type joint (RTJ), and butt weld (BW). Testing per API 598; butt weld ends per ASME B16.25; face-to-face per ASME B16.10.

Selection notes

This globe valve is a cast steel pattern, supplied for flanged and butt weld installation.

Sizes run DN15 to DN300, in Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500, Class 2500.

The body is offered in WCB, WC1, WC6 and WC9, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are 13Cr, STL, Body Material and Nylon. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include water, steam, oil, nitric acid, acetic acid and urea.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater, Oil & Gas and Industrial Process.

Working temperature is max 570°C, by material.

Built to ASME B16.10, API598 and ASME B16.25.
