About hydraulic power generators

A hydraulic power generator is installed inline in a pipeline in place of a short spool and converts a portion of the flow energy into regulated DC power using a small turbine. It supplies telemetry, pressure loggers, water-quality sensors and communication equipment at remote sites where a mains connection would be costly and where batteries or solar are impractical. Pipeline head loss is modest and can be factored into the hydraulic design. Provide the bore, flow and pressure range and the power required so we can propose a suitable unit.
