Description

A parallel-gate slide valve with two gate plates and an inter-plate spreading (wedging) mechanism. The pressing force on the seats is regulated by medium pressure acting on a floating gate plate or floating seat, supplemented by the spreading device. Intended for isolation or venting of gases and liquids in pipeline systems.

This slab gate valve is a expanding, parallel gate valve and double disc gate valve pattern, supplied for flanged and butt weld installation.

Sizes run NPS 2" to NPS 60", in PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40, PN63, PN100, PN160, PN250, PN320, PN400, Class 150, Class 300, Class 400, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500, Class 2500.

The body is offered in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Stated service media include tap water, sewage, petroleum, chemicals, food-grade media and gas.
