Description
The Angle Type Mud Box (VCVA-10) is a basket-type strainer in an angle-pattern body configuration, designed to remove debris and solids from sea cooling water pipelines. It is available in a range of body materials including cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, bronze and stainless steel to suit marine and industrial applications.
Selection notes
This strainer is supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN40 to DN400, in PN10.
The body is offered in GG25, GGG40, GGG40.3 and GSC25, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Stated service media include sea cooling water.
It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and HVAC.
Built to DIN 87 151-E Angle, DIN 87 151-D Straight, DIN EN 12266 and DIN EN 1092 (PN 10 Flange).
