Description
The WSTX Y-strainer screens out debris and rubbish, installed at pump outlets or control valve inlets to protect pipeline systems, equipment and facilities from clogging. The Y-body configuration delivers a better flow coefficient and lower head loss. The reinforced concaved bonnet provides a stronger top cover. Fitted with a 30-mesh SS304 screen. Flanged ends to PN10/PN16 or ANSI 125/150. Body and bonnet are ductile iron with powder epoxy coating for water service.
Selection notes
This strainer is supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN600, in PN10, PN16, ANSI 125, ANSI 150.
The body is EN-GJS-500-7.
Stated service media include clean water, oil and steam.

Working temperature is -10°C to 80°C.
Built to Hydraulic test to BS/ISO/GB, Seat: 1.1 x PN, Body: 1.5 x PN, BS/ISO/GB hydraulic test and Seat: 1.1 × PN.
