Description

A flanged or grooved-end butterfly valve designed and tested in conformance with AWWA C504, suitable for drinking water, sea water, cooling water, and low-corrosive liquids. The valve features a ductile iron body (ASTM A536 grade 65-45-12 or 60-40-18), a rubber seat located on the disc with a 360° seal ring secured by a retainer ring for bidirectional service, and a two-piece stub-type SS630 shaft. Available in sizes 14" to 160" (DN350 - DN4000) in pressure classes CLASS 75B, 150B, and 250B.

Selection notes

This butterfly valve is a grooved end and rubber seated pattern, supplied for flanged and grooved installation.

Sizes run DN350 to DN4000, in Class 150.

The body is offered in 65-45-12 and 60-40-18, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are 304. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include drinking water, sea water, tse water and low-corrosive liquid.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater, HVAC and Industrial Process.

Working temperature is 0°C to 80°C.

Built to AWWA C504, EN 593, BS5155, DIN3354 and EN 558-1 / ISO 5752 series 14.
