Description
Triple eccentric butterfly valve in which the valve stem axis is offset from both the butterfly plate centre and the body centre, and the valve seat rotation axis is angled relative to the body channel axis. The butterfly plate periphery is machined to an external inclined conical surface mating with an internal inclined conical surface seat, forming an elliptical metal-to-metal contact. The design eliminates seat contact friction during opening and closing, and achieves pressure-energised sealing when closed. Available in double flange, lug, butt weld and socket end connections.

This butterfly valve is a triple eccentric and hard seated pattern, supplied for flanged, lug and butt weld installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1600, in PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40, PN63, PN100, PN160, PN250, Class 150, Class 300, Class 400, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500.
The body is offered in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
