Description
A wafer-type butterfly valve operated by a worm gear mechanism, designed for manual flow control, throttling, and shut-off in pipeline systems. The compact wafer body is installed between pipeline flanges and incorporates an eccentric structure to reduce seat friction and extend service life. Available in a range of body, seat, shaft, and disc material combinations to suit various fluid handling applications.
Selection notes
This butterfly valve is a wafer type and worm gear operated pattern, supplied for wafer installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1200, in PN10, PN16.
The body is offered in CI, DI, CS and SS, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are EPDM, PTFE, FKM and NBR. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include water, wastewater and general industrial fluids.
