Description

A swing check valve utilising an angled seat and a fully encapsulated, resilient rubber flap disc to prevent reverse flow automatically. The disc assembly comprises a steel plate and steel rod substrate reinforced with nylon cloth and covered with rubber, rated for up to 1 million operating cycles. Suitable for horizontal installation in water supply, drainage, and pump-discharge applications.

Selection notes

This check valve is a swing and rubber flap pattern, supplied for flanged installation.

The body is GJS500-7 (GGG50).

Seat and trim options are NBR and EPDM. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include potable water, neutral liquids and fluids containing suspended solids.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater.

Built to DIN3202-F6, BS5153, BS EN12334, EN16767 and EN-12266-1 Class A.

Supplier remarks

  • WRAS approved material for drinking water upon request.
  • The check valve is generally suitable for cleaning media, and should not be used for media with solid particles and high viscosity.
