Description

A double-eccentric tilting disc check valve with rubber-to-metal sealing, designed for pump discharge applications. The valve opens by media flow pressure and closes by disc dead-weight and back-flow pressure, with optional external counterweight and hydraulic damper for two-step quick/slow closing action. Available in ductile iron body with fusion bonded epoxy coating, sized DN200 to DN1600 at pressures up to PN25.

Selection notes

This check valve is a tilting disc, swing and butterfly pattern, supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run DN200 to DN1600, in PN10, PN16, PN25.

The body is offered in GJS500-7 (GGG50) and GJS400-15 (GGG40), so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are EPDM and NBR. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include water and neutral liquids.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and Industrial Process.

Built to EN12334, BS EN12334, EN558-1, EN558 series 14 and EN 12266-1 Class A.
