Description

A wafer-type single disc swing check valve designed to prevent reverse flow in pipelines. The disc swings open under forward flow and closes automatically upon flow reversal. Available in cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, or stainless steel body materials with elastomeric or metal seat options. Suitable for horizontal and vertical upward flow installations.

Selection notes

This check valve is a wafer type, single disc and swing check pattern, supplied for wafer installation.

Sizes run DN50 to DN1000, in PN10, PN16.

The body is offered in Cast Iron, Ductile Iron, Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are NBR, EPDM, FKM and Neoprene. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include fresh water, sewage, sea water, air, vapour and oils.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater, HVAC and Industrial Process.

Working temperature is max 150°C.

Built to API 594, DIN3202, ISO5752, API 598 and ISO5211.
