About cryogenic ball valves
Cryogenic ball valves are quarter-turn isolation valves engineered to seal reliably at the deep sub-zero temperatures of LNG and industrial gas service. An extended bonnet keeps the stem seal and gland away from the cold zone, and materials, clearances and seats are selected to remain leak-tight through extreme thermal contraction, with fire-safe construction where required. Bodies are austenitic stainless steel to standards such as BS 6364. Provide the bore, pressure class, medium and minimum temperature for a suitable valve.
