Description

Large bore ductile iron metal seated gate valve with non-rising stem and full bore design, available in sizes DN1000 to DN2000. Features solid wedge gate with brass or bronze seat rings on both body and disc, bi-directional sealing, and optional channel guides for horizontal installation. Designed for water and low-corrosive liquid service at pressure ratings PN6 to PN16.

Selection notes

This gate valve is a metal seated, large bore, non-rising stem and solid wedge pattern, supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run DN1000 to DN2000, in PN6, PN10, PN16.

The body is offered in GJS500-7 (GGG50), GJS400-15 (GGG40) and GJS450-10, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are Brass and Bronze. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include drinking water, raw water, treated water, wastewater, cooling water and tse water.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and HVAC.

Working temperature is -10°C to 80°C.

Built to EN1171, DIN3202 F4, BS 5163, EN558-1 series 3 and EN12266-1.
