Description
A resilient seated gate valve fitted with a bypass pipe and valves to equalise pressure before the main valve opens, reducing water hammer. Features a non-rising stem and a fully encapsulated resilient seated wedge for tight sealing across repeated cycles. Body is ductile iron with epoxy coating, suitable for municipal water mains, pump stations, and industrial applications.
Selection notes
This gate valve is a resilient seated, non-rising stem and with bypass pattern.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1200, in PN10, PN16.
The body is offered in Cast Iron and Ductile Iron, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are Brass. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include fresh water, sewage, sea water, air, vapour and oils.
It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and Industrial Process.
Working temperature is -10°C to 150°C.
Built to EN1074.
