Description
A rising stem resilient seat gate valve with ductile iron body and fully encapsulated EPDM rubber wedge, providing tight shut-off and corrosion resistance. The rising stem configuration allows visual position indication and reduces stem jamming risk in contaminated environments. Available in DN50 - DN1200, rated to PN10/PN16, and suitable for municipal and industrial pipeline applications.
Selection notes
This gate valve is a rising stem and resilient seat pattern, supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1200, in PN10, PN16.
The body is offered in Ductile Iron and Cast Iron, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are EPDM. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include chemicals, air, water, steam, oil and salts.
It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater.
Working temperature is -10°C to 120°C.
Built to DIN3352 F4/F5, AWWA C509/515, BS5163, DIN3202 F4/F5 and DIN3230.
