Description
Wafer-type butterfly valve engineered for flue gas desulfurisation (FGD) systems, wastewater treatment, and corrosive media handling. Constructed with a resilient seat design to achieve bubble-tight shut-off and flow control in abrasive slurry, acidic, and corrosive service conditions. Available in a range of body, disc, and shaft material combinations to suit varying corrosion and abrasion requirements.
Selection notes
This butterfly valve is a wafer type and desulfurisation pattern, supplied for wafer installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1200, in Up to PN16.
The body is offered in CI, DI, WCB and SS, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are EPDM. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include flue gas desulfurisation slurry, wastewater, corrosive media, abrasive slurries, h₂so₄ and hcl.

Working temperature is -10°C to 120°C.
