Description
Double eccentric (double offset) butterfly valve with flanged body. The offset disc design minimises contact between disc and seat during operation, reducing wear and operating torque. Designed for high-pressure and large-diameter pipelines requiring tight shut-off. Available in a range of materials, flange standards, and actuation options.
Selection notes
This butterfly valve is a double eccentric and resilient seated pattern, supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run NPS 2" to NPS 48", in 125lbs, 150lbs.
The body is offered in GGG50 and Cast Iron, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are EPDM. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include water, sewage, food and beverage media, chemical / petrochemical fluids, process fluids and paper and pulp media.
