Description
Wafer-body butterfly valve designed to fit between standard flanges for compact pipeline installations. Available in multiple body, disc, seat, and stem material combinations to suit a wide range of media including water, chemicals, air, steam, and oil. Suitable for water treatment, irrigation, HVAC, and industrial fluid distribution applications.
Selection notes
This butterfly valve is a wafer type pattern, supplied for wafer installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1000, in PN10, PN16, Class 150, Class 300.
The body is offered in CI, DI, CS and SS, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are EPDM, NBR, PTFE and FKM. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include water, chemicals, air, steam, oil and salts.
It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater, HVAC and Industrial Process.
Working temperature is -30°C to 135°C.
Built to API 609, ANSI 16.34, JIS B2064, GB/T 12238 and DIN 3202.
