Description
Wafer-type butterfly valve with an aluminium bronze disc and PTFE seat, intended for manual isolation service in pipelines handling corrosive or chemically aggressive media. The aluminium bronze disc provides improved resistance to seawater and corrosion compared with standard ductile iron or carbon steel disc materials. Operated by a manual handle and suited to smaller and medium pipe sizes requiring frequent operation and dependable shut-off.
Selection notes
This butterfly valve is a wafer type pattern, supplied for wafer installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1200, in PN10, PN16, Class 150, Class 300.
The body is offered in CI, DI, CS and SS, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are EPDM, PTFE, FKM and NBR. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include chemicals, air, water, steam, oil and salts.

Working temperature is -30°C to 135°C.
