Description
Wafer-pattern butterfly valve with aluminium bronze body, designed for marine, offshore, and corrosive water service including seawater cooling systems and desalination plants. Available in sizes DN50 to DN1200, rated to PN10/16 or ANSI Class 150/300. Seat options include EPDM, NBR, PTFE, FKM, Neoprene, CSM, and Silicone.
Selection notes
This butterfly valve is a wafer type and marine pattern, supplied for wafer installation.
Sizes run DN50 to DN1200, in PN10, PN16, Class 150, Class 300.
The body is offered in Aluminum Bronze, Cast Iron, Ductile Iron and Carbon Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Seat and trim options are EPDM, NBR, PTFE and FKM. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.
Stated service media include chemicals, air, water, steam, oil and salts.

Working temperature is -30°C to 135°C.
