Description

Rising stem gate valve designed to EN 1171 and DIN 3352, available in sizes DN40 to DN1000 with a maximum pressure rating of PN40. Features flanged ends to DIN EN 1092-2/B and is suitable for operating temperatures from -20°C to +400°C. Body materials include cast iron (GG25), ductile iron (GGG40), cast steel (GSC25), bronze, and stainless steel options across the size range.

Selection notes

This gate valve is a rising stem pattern, supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run DN40 to DN1000, in PN10, PN16, PN25, PN40.

The body is offered in GG 25, GGG-40, GGG40.3 and GSC25, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are Ms 58, Bronze and S.S. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and Industrial Process.

Working temperature is -20°C to 400°C.

Built to EN 1171, DIN 3352, EN 558 Serie 15, DIN3202 F5 and EN 558.

VYM configurations

View full VYM system →
This product is part of the VYM modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing VYM body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
