  • auxiliary pressure supply systems

Approvals

Features

  • Automatic disc opening and closing actuated by medium pressure without external control
  • Slow-closing design reduces impact sound and water hammer effect
  • Prevents backflow of medium and reverse rotation of pumps and drive motors
  • Suitable for pipelines where auxiliary system pressure may rise above system pressure
  • Compact structure

Description

A slow-closing check valve that opens and closes the disc automatically in response to medium flow, designed to prevent backflow. The valve is suitable for preventing reverse rotation of pumps and drive motors, and for releasing medium in containers. It may also be used in pipelines supplying supplementary pressure to auxiliary systems where pressure may exceed system pressure.

Selection notes

This check valve is a slow-closing pattern, supplied for flanged and butt weld installation.

Sizes run DN15 to DN400, in PN16 to PN420.

The body is offered in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Stated service media include water, oil and gas.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and Oil & Gas.

Working temperature is -29°C to 538°C.

Built to GB/T12235, API 594, API 607, GB/T12221 and ASME B16.10.

Casted Check Valve configurations

View full Casted Check Valve system →
This product is part of the Casted Check Valve modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing Casted Check Valve body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
