  • gas

Features

  • Y-shaped valve body provides low flow resistance
  • Valve disc moves vertically (up and down); connecting pipe links upper chamber to valve outlet enabling full-stroke travel
  • Reduced impact and vibration during disc travel
  • Guide ribs welded with hard alloy for wear resistance
  • Guide sleeve manufactured from stainless steel
  • Pressure self-tightening seal for reliable sealing
  • Valve disc and seat sealing surfaces faced with cobalt-based alloy weld overlay for high hardness, corrosion resistance, and abrasion resistance

Description

A cast Y-shaped body check valve designed to prevent fluid backflow by allowing unidirectional flow; when reverse flow occurs the valve disc closes automatically. The valve body's Y-profile provides low flow resistance, with the valve disc guided by stainless steel guide sleeves and hard-alloy-welded guide ribs. Sealing surfaces on both the disc and seat are faced with cobalt-based alloy weld overlay for hardness, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance.

Selection notes

This check valve is a y-type and non-return valve pattern.

Sizes run DN15 to DN400, in PN16 to PN420.

The body is offered in Carbon steel, Stainless steel and Alloy steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Stated service media include water, oil and gas.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater.

Working temperature is -29°C to 538°C.

Casted Check Valve configurations

View full Casted Check Valve system →
This product is part of the Casted Check Valve modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing Casted Check Valve body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
