Features

  • Self-balanced pressure design on upper and lower sides of the valve plug enables tight shutoff with low actuator thrust
  • Suitable for large-size and high-pressure applications
  • Straight-through streamlined internal flow path reduces flow resistance and achieves higher Cv value
  • Flow capacity increased by approximately 20% - 50% compared to conventional designs
  • Low flow resistance coefficient
  • High-precision positioning and fast response
  • Rangeability of 100:1
  • Leakage Class IV, V, or VI per FCI 70-2 and IEC 60534-4
  • Flow characteristics: linear, equal percentage, or customised
  • Compact design and small installation footprint
  • Long service life and low maintenance requirements

Description

Straight-through streamlined axial flow control valve in which the throttling element aligns with the direction of media flow, reducing energy loss and increasing flow capacity by approximately 20% to 50% compared to conventional designs. Features a self-balanced pressure design on the upper and lower sides of the valve plug, enabling tight shutoff with low actuator thrust. Suitable for regulation and control of natural gas, crude oil, refined oil, and other non-corrosive gases and liquids.

Selection notes

This control valve is a axial flow pattern, supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run DN50 to DN1200, in Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500, Class 2500.

The body is offered in WCB, CF8 and CF8M, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are 304, 316 and 1Cr17Ni2 (AISI 431). The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include natural gas, crude oil, refined oil, non-corrosive gases and non-corrosive liquids.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater, Oil & Gas and Industrial Process.

Working temperature is -46°C to 280°C.

Built to FCI 70-2 and IEC 60534-4.

Linear Series configurations

View full Linear Series system →
This product is part of the Linear Series modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing Linear Series body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
