Features

  • Multi-stage plugs and porous sleeve structure to gradually reduce fluid velocity, disperse energy, and minimise turbulence and cavitation
  • Noise reduction typically 20-40 dB compared to conventional control valves
  • S-shaped streamline fluid passage with deflector wing for smooth flow around the sleeve
  • Pressure-balanced plug structure enabling high-pressure-difference control with reduced actuator output force
  • Sleeve equipped with multiple symmetrical small holes to reduce pressure drop
  • Flow characteristics: linear or equal percentage
  • CDN702 dual-directional structure ensures valve stability under high differential pressure
  • RSMF series multi-spring pneumatic diaphragm actuator: compact structure, high output force, long service life
  • Suitable for fluid flow, pressure, temperature, and liquid level regulation

Description

The C700 Series Low-Noise Control Valve comprises the CN702 and CDN702 sub-series, designed to reduce noise in compressible fluid applications. The plug uses a pressure-balanced structure; the sleeve is fitted with multiple symmetrical small holes to reduce pressure drop, and the S-shaped streamline fluid passage includes a deflector wing to promote smooth flow. The result is low pressure-drop loss, high flow capacity, reduced noise (typically 20-40 dB reduction), and minimised cavitation.

Selection notes

This control valve is a low-noise cage-guided and high differential pressure cage-guided pattern.

Sizes run DN25 to DN700, in PN16, PN25, PN40, PN63, PN100, Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500, Class 2500.

The body is offered in WCB, WCC, LCB and LCC, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Stated service media include compressible fluids (gases), water, petroleum/petrochemical fluids, chemical fluids, metallurgical process fluids and lng.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and Oil & Gas.

Working temperature is -196°C to 345°C, by material.

Linear Series configurations

View full Linear Series system →
This product is part of the Linear Series modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing Linear Series body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
