Description

Cast steel jacketed globe valve designed to transport high-viscosity media that solidify at room temperature. The insulation jacket is welded between the two body flanges, with two connection ports (side and bottom) for the jacket medium. Steam or other heating fluid in the jacket prevents crystallisation of the process medium. Suitable for chemical, fertiliser, petroleum, metallurgical, and pharmaceutical pipeline systems.

Selection notes

This globe valve is a insulated, jacketed and dc jacket pattern, supplied for flanged and butt weld installation.

Sizes run DN15 to DN600, in PN16, PN25, PN40, PN64, PN100, PN160, Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900.

The body is offered in Carbon steel, Stainless steel and Alloy steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Stated service media include high-viscosity media that solidify at room temperature and media prone to crystallisation.

It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and Oil & Gas.

Working temperature is -29°C to 538°C.

Built to BS 1873, API 623, JB/T 13458, API 607 and ASME B16.10.

Casted Globe Valve configurations

View full Casted Globe Valve system →
This product is part of the Casted Globe Valve modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing Casted Globe Valve body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
