Description
A blind valve designed for flow isolation or fluid control within pipelines using a blind plate that slides along a track to the centre of the pipe when a handwheel is turned. The blind plate creates a seal blocking fluid flow without requiring special tools, heavy lifting equipment, or dismantling of pipe connections. The design provides stable sealing performance across varying operating conditions.
Selection notes
This blind valve is a blind plate valve and slide pattern, supplied for flanged installation.
Sizes run DN100 to DN3600, in Up to PN6.
The body is offered in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Stated service media include petroleum, chemicals, water, oil, gas and natural gas.
It is catalogued for Water & Wastewater and Oil & Gas.
Working temperature is 0°C to 350°C.
Built to GB/T 12234, GB/T 24917, ASME B16.10, GB/T 12221 and API 598.
