Body

Typical applications

  • High-temperature and high-pressure thermal power plants
  • Power generation industry
  • Petroleum refining

Features

  • Low fluid resistance due to straight-through internal medium passage
  • Flow direction does not change through the valve
  • Pressure self-tightening seal
  • Butt-welded end connections as standard
  • Rapid valve disc closure resulting in low water hammer pressure
  • Simple body structure
  • Good sealing performance
  • Sealing surface subject to minimal erosion when fully open

Description

A check valve designed for high-temperature and high-pressure service, featuring a straight-through internal medium passage that minimises fluid resistance without altering flow direction. Utilises pressure self-tightening sealing with butt-welded end connections as standard. The valve disc closes rapidly, resulting in low water hammer pressure, and the sealing surface experiences minimal erosion when fully open.

Selection notes

This check valve is a power plant and straight-through pattern, supplied for butt weld and flanged installation.

Sizes run DN50 to DN600, in PN100, PN160, PN250, PN320, PN400, PN420, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500, Class 2500.

The body is offered in Carbon steel, Stainless steel and Alloy steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

It is catalogued for Oil & Gas and Industrial Process.

Working temperature is -29°C to 650°C.

Built to GB/T 12224, ASME B16.34, NB/T 47044, GB/T 12221 and GB/T 26480.

Specialty Valves configurations

View full Specialty Valves system →
This product is part of the Specialty Valves modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing Specialty Valves body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
