Features
- All wetted components strictly degreased during manufacture; no oil residue; smooth, burr-free surfaces to meet oxygen-service cleanliness requirements
- Forced-sealing design: closure pressure applied to disc to prevent seat leakage
- Materials selected for flame retardancy and electrical conductivity (stainless steel, brass, Monel alloy options)
- Low-torque design to reduce mechanical friction and minimise ignition risk
- Compact structure with fast heat transfer
- Compliant with API 607 and API 6FA fire-safety standards
- Suitable for oxygen with dew point not exceeding -30 degrees C and purity greater than 23.5% volume fraction
Description
A globe valve designed for oxygen service, constructed from stainless steel, brass or Monel alloy with an oil-free, degreased finish to meet high-purity gas cleanliness requirements. The valve is a forced-sealing type suitable for oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen and argon gas systems at pressures up to 21 MPa and temperatures from -29 to 200 degrees C. All components are strictly degreased during manufacture and the design complies with fire-safety standards API 607 and API 6FA.
Selection notes
This globe valve is a oxygen service pattern, supplied for flanged and butt weld installation.
Sizes run DN10 to DN400, in Up to 210 bar.
The body is offered in Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.
Stated service media include oxygen (dew point not exceeding -30 degrees c, purity volume fraction greater than 23.5%), nitrogen, hydrogen and argon.
Working temperature is -29°C to 200°C.
Built to GB/T 12235, GB 50030-2013, JB/T 12955, GB/T 12221 and GB/T 26480.
