Description

Single-seat control valve designed for cryogenic low-temperature service, featuring an integral forged valve body and bellows seal assembly. The plug offers parabolic or equal percentage flow characteristics with a hardened alloy seat for precise flow regulation. Suitable for LNG, liquid nitrogen and associated cryogenic systems. Widely used in air separation equipment and low-temperature storage and transportation systems.

Selection notes

This cryogenic control valve is a single-seat control valve and cryogenic regulating valve pattern, supplied for flanged installation.

Sizes run DN15 to DN600, in Class 150, Class 300, Class 600, Class 900, Class 1500, Class 2500.

The body is offered in Stainless Steel and Alloy Steel, so the grade can be matched to the service rather than the other way round.

Seat and trim options are Hardened Alloy. The seat, not the body, usually sets the temperature and medium limit, so confirm it against the service before ordering.

Stated service media include lng, liquid nitrogen, lpg, natural gas, oil and gas.

It is catalogued for Oil & Gas.

Working temperature is -196°C to 80°C, by material.

Built to IEC 60534-4 and GB/T 4213.

Cryogenic Valves configurations

View full Cryogenic Valves system →
This product is part of the Cryogenic Valves modular system. All configurations share the same hydraulically operated body: the control function is set by the pilot valve(s) attached. An existing Cryogenic Valves body in the field can be reconfigured for a different duty simply by swapping the pilot, without replacing the body.
